Samuel Perkins was born in Lisbon, New London Co., Conn. 13 Sept. 1767 and died 22 Sept. 1850 in Windham Co., Conn.  He married Anna (maybe Nancy) Huntington 24 Feb. 1793.  He was a minister for a short period before practicing law in Windham.  He authored several books including History of the War of 1812 in 1825.  They had two sons and two daughters.  The rest of the details are found in my book 15 Generations of Whipples, An American Story.  Check on “Buy Now” to order through Pay Pal.
