Nathan Whipple was born in Whipple Hollow near Rutland, Vt. 21 April 1794 and died 3 Dec. 1863 in Saybrook, Ohio.  He married Laura Mixer in Ohio in abt. 1817.  Nathan moved from Rutland Co. to Licking Co., Ohio in the fall of 1813 along with his older brother Enoch and younger brother Abraham.  In 1817 he moved his family to Madison, Geauga County.  In his last will and testament, signed in June 1863,  he bequeathed all his real and personal property to Laura.  A codicil signed 26 Nov. named his son Horatio sole executor.  They had 2 sons and 2 daughters.  Nathan was an 8th generation member of the Matthew Whipple family.  The rest of the details are found in my book 15 Generations of Whipples.  Check on Buy Now to order through PayPal or send your check directly to Blaine Whipple to avoid shipping and handling charges.
