COL. NATHANIEL WHEELER & HULDA WHIPPLE OF CROYDON, NH
Col. Nathaniel Wheeler (1781-1864) married Hulda Whipple in Croydon, N.H. in 1807. He operated one of the largest dairies in the Croydon area and was active in military and political affairs. He was the first man in town to volunteer for the War of 1812 and served as State Representative and Selectman. They had five sons and a daughter. Hulda was an eighth generation member of the Matthew Whipple family. The rest of the details are in my book 15 Generations of Whipples.
